This santal lady is a school teacher in Mayurbhanj district, elder sister of Shakuntala Mandi.  She is very laborious and sweet . I made her sketch while she was having breakfast. first day when me and Bisva reached there , as a custom santal serve a pot filled with water. This show the respect towards the guest. According to the tribe custom every elder person among the guest will receive the water pot which we call it Lota dak , After that few drops of water we drop in the ground in the name of Marang Buru the  God of forest, Karam gosain ( goddess of wealth) and goddess of forest which we call her Jaher Era , the wife of forest God. In the evening we had mandi daka, which is really delicious with mango chatni. and chili namak. he had this food in shed. मूर्तिशिल्पी आचार्य  श्री बिनोद कुमार  सिंह (Sculptor Sri Binod Kumar Singh) शिक्षक के रूप में एक अंतिम गुरु होंगे, जो गुरुकुल की पुरानी परंपरा को जीवंतता दिए हैं।  जिन्होंने न सिर्फ अपनी कर्मों से बल्कि वाणी से भी हमें सिखलायें हैं कि मूर्ति शिल्प बनाने के पहले और साथ-साथ खुद के चरित्र और व्यव्हार को भी तराशना अति आवश्यक होता है।  मूर्ति निर्माण और चरित्र निर्माण दोधारी तलवार जैसी होती है।  यही आपके व्यक्तित्व और भविष्य को संवारती है।  ज्ञान तभी किसी व्यक्ति विशेष में ठहर सकती है जब उसमे शील हों। जिसमे शील नहीं, वह व्यक्ति विद्वान भी नहीं।  और उन्होंने हमेशा से यह भी कहे हैं की अपनी पात्रता बढ़ाओ।  एक उत्तम गुरु के रूप में मैं समझता हूँ कि शिक्षण ही सिर्फ शेष लक्ष्य नहीं हैं, आप अपने वातावरण को भी कैसे शुद्धि रखते हैं यह भी बहुत जरुरी है।  कृति या मूर्तिशिल्प अपने आप जन्म ले लेगी अगर आप एक बार खुद को जन्म दे दिए या परिमार्जित कर लिए। ये मेरे शब्द नहीं हैं, ये कहीं न कहीं गुरूजी के अलौकिक  ज्ञानविंब में ...
